Face it, people, we are all human. Prone to the same mistakes as others, skin color does not matter, culture does not matter, it is just the stuff that makes up who you are but you can never escape the fact, no matter how hard that you try, you are human just like the person you stand next to, love, hate or see as being different.

I can understand wanting to respect one's heritage and keep from assimlating into a mass blob culture but do not let the heritage become so important that you think it actually differentiates you from the humans around you.

If we all could keep this in mind we would have less wars over religion, race and differing culture.

Sadly that day has yet to arrive and each passing day lends more credence to the theory that it will take an outside influence to unify humanity in such a fashion.

i can totally agree with this.
I don't see it as being racist to have pride.

I'm not just accusing white people of racism, and not all persons are racists

I have never heard anything but "White Supremecy" not Black, not Hispanic, not Asian, ...

I was just wondering if it went back to religion

Sorry, if I offended you

Here... read about these guys. This should change your views

Nation of Islam
nation of Gods and Earths
New Black Panther Party
Nation of Yaweh

these are all black Supremacy groups. There are similar groups for every race imaginable (although I was unable to find an Asian supremacy group.)

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.[/

Well sure, there's Supremacy groups for every race

I know that slavery in America is over, but: What makes one man think he can own another, because of skin color?

On the news (maybe even a year ago) some white kids hung nooses in a black school or something along those lines. Or nooses for black kids at a white school
(Yes I know the whole town turned out, both black and white)

What's the religous explanation for people of color?
Could that be the answer to racism?

Slavery has existed elsewhere without this thought but it was skin color they defined people as slave in America, the system became perverted through this and the 1/32 black rule. Religion was just a tool like science and politics to reinforce slavery as a fair and just practice in their mindset when all else screamed against them that it was wrong and should have been done away with.

Are to blame the gun for killing the person or the hand behind the gun connected to the individual who pulled the trigger?

Ignorance is everywhere, sometimes you just have to put up with it, but sometimes you cannot prevent any violent actions towards the "racist" person/people

So, racism is not found anywhere in the Christian religion, but rather religion is used as tool to allow racism?

Bingo. Hole in one. We have a winner. You are correct, sir, ha ha ha.

It is the individual who makes religion racist not the other way around.

What does that have to do with what I said. People from all races act ignorant. It's true. There is not one race that acts ignorant. There are people of every color and background who feel that they are superior to others.

This is what I'm talking about. If black people, mexicans, asians, etc... do not like white people for some reason that's not viewed as being racist and it's acceptable. That's a stupid concept but it's one that the majority of our country has embraced for some reason.
That depends on who you're dealing with. Racism is wrong either way. I don't feel that me not liking all white people is okay, while having the same mindset being used against me is wrong. It's wrong either way. Some people do have that mindset, and it's not right, but of course everyone doesn't think like that. I understand that some people use their race as an excuse for their shortcomings and whatnot, but racism does still exist. I've met several people who think that everything is equal in the US and it's not. Equality is just a human thought, an idea, and it will probably never be reached anywhere as a nation. Sometimes people are just too different or close-minded to accept others. I wouldn't say that majority of our country has went down that path, but that's just my opinion. It's who you're dealing with.

it's all too true. it's not only one race, but all of them, I don't think there's been any race that hasn't.

There's a reason that standards for racism are perceived differently for whites as compared to other race groups in this country, it is because only members of one race have practiced and/or benefited from systematic racial dominance here, whites, so while people of all races can be racist on an individual basis, the entire social system is set up so that only one race can practice dominance and racism on a grand scale.

As for the role of religion, it is used as an excuse by many, and used as a method to perpetuate racism by others, the ruling elite.

one of my favorite jokes a friend told me is
"when a white person says it it's racist, when a black person says it it's comedy"
which for the most part is true, a white person can get in trouble for saying the "N-word" even as a joke, but a black person says cracker even as a racial thing not even joking there's nothing wrong with it same with other races, hispanics can say things as well and no one will do anything.

Racism has got to be the most primitive forms of discrimination.

Religion is just used to make hate seem righteous.

Religion in its self is a primitive form of law enforcement.
