I am not too educated on satanism and have some questions...
  1. Do satanists believe in God and Jesus Christ?
  2. If they do, do they fundamentally 'Hate' God?
  3. Do satanists 'worship Satan' or is it just a different lifestyle?

Sorry if these have already been answered..

No. At least, LaVeyan Satanist do not. We are Atheist who have decided to take on the role of Satan as an adversary to theistic religion.
  2. If they do, do they fundamentally 'Hate' God?
We do hate the concept of God.
  3. Do satanists 'worship Satan' or is it just a different lifestyle?
There again, we do not believe in God or jesus and in return do not believe in Satan. It is merely a different philosophy.

If you really want to know more I recommend reading the entirety of this post. It's a lot to read but worth it if you're sincere in wanting a better understanding.

Sorry if these have already been answered..

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.[/

I would like to add that, like every religion satanism has different depths and levels.

While little horn hates the concept of a God(s), I believe that religion is a useful tool utilized by many cultures around the world. I follow Satan because he is a symbol of rebellion under religious oppression (Satan rebels against God's oppressive nature). I personally believe that the only problems sparked by religion are because of oppressive teachings of intolerance.

Let me get this straight because honestly, I'm a little confused... Do you or do you not believe in and follow Satan as external deity? My brand of Satanism simply uses the idea of Satan as an archetype... can this be assumed for you as well?

I don't know, There is no solid proof either way to the proof or disproof of deities, so I choose not to make up my mind until someone disproves them (or proves them). I only view deities as a possible 11th dimensional being that we can not see, or a possibly superior alien race who sped up our evolution (intelligent design) but I don't believe in super natural deities and I recognize that the chances of one of the theologies of man being correct is a huge improbability. But then quantum physics states that humans subconsciously bend the world around them to fit the way that they see the world, so isn't possible that just by believing in a God that he may exist?

So in short, I feel that it is an improbability that Satan exists so I don't actively 'worship' him , but I definitely use him as an archetype.

You're going to be waiting for a long time; no one's definitively proved either way yet, and I doubt anyone ever will. It's one of those sorts of things.

I don't really feel Satanism is its own religion. I feel it is simply rebellious Christians. It's more of an anti-Christianity than its own religion because Satan pretty much just represents an opposition to Christianity. In fact, Satan's main contribution to Christianity is an evil to oppose God and represent what is not Christian. At least that's what I feel...could be wrong.

Wow Little Horn, I am definitely interested in LaVeyan Satanism.

I have been a pretty hardcore athiest (I was trying to be someone without religion, but I guess I've been trying to disprove God so much recently that I believe I am athiest haha) and I'm thinking about switching (I don't like the term converting for some reason) to Satanism.

I'll read The Satanic Bible and get back to you.
