What is Wiccan?

I mean I've heard of it-obviously

But I don't know their views

My definition:

Nature based or commercialized religion (depends on the person/people) that believes in Earth based deities that are seasonal. One of the oldest and youngest religions. There is old style and new style, the latter is often called Neo-Paganism along with being called Wicca.

This form of Witchcraft is distinct from other forms of witchcraft in that it is a European based one and its focus is on interaction with nature and the Goddess figure.

It has become commercialized like other religions and many claim to be able to speak like they know what they are talking about when it comes to this or that.

This religion like any other religion requires study and scrutiny, I don't suggest anyone pursue it unless that is what you want to do.

I do, however, ask that as with any religion that people have tolerance for it as long as it does not harm you.

It is Godsmack heh heh. No seriously, the singer from Godsmack is wiccan and some of his stuff is based on his beliefs.
Gow nailed it down though. That sums up the overall popular view of Wicca.
