The afterlife

do you believe there is an after life? even if it is going to heaven or hell or meeting buddah or some thing i believe that the after life is whatever you want it to be if you believe in heaven you go to heaven and if you believe you will be reincarnated then you will be cuz thats what you want to happen

try imagining what life was like before u were born.......thats what the afterlife is like....nothing (so i think)

its hard for us to imagine not being concious ever agian, but thats what it will be like i think.i think we just dont exist anymore, just like we didnt exist before we were born. everything just dies i think. its hard for me to explain........but there really is nothing to explain if u think about it how i do.

yeah i believe in heaven and hell because thats what i want to believe. my friend who is an atheisit (dont know how to spell it) believes he will go back into a world he makes up in his mind so its sort of like dreaming forever to him. I guess we will never know if there is one or not because how can someone say they were there if they are dead.

And I see heaven just like those Philadelphia cream cheese commercials but with more yellow hues with a sun kissed effect instead of blues.
I wanna still see my sisters after I die.

i lol'd! to me the afterlife is more... realistic. i think afterlife you would go to a place with nothing... then there there'll be a jury type thing that determine if you'll go to heaven or hell. hell to me is not hot and flaming, but more of a torturing place for those who's bad, like nightmare prison. and heaven to me is another world sort of identical to ours, and very bright with lots of nature stuff. and no crime or anything bad and everyone's just peaceful and happy.

But I also believe that people who believe in something different now and back in ancient times, will go to those places, and people who believe nothing, will become nothing

I believe that when we die we all get to meet our dead relatives and everyone who died before our time. And it will be all white and we get to wear gowns. Birds will sit upon my shoulder and greet the warmth of my body and the animals will play with the humans and everyone will find that they are truly happy.

Wait, no. I forgot.

When I die, my body will be burned and then thrown in the trash (because ash, whether it comes from my body or not, is simply ash and needs to be disposed of). And that's that.

It is realistic to me though there aren't those fake wings that they obviously have on tv or anything.
It will just look old like an ancient painting from Da Vinci or something like that that looks more yellow-brownish.
And wow you seem to have the patience to go through all that: with me when I die, it won't be real long before I go to heaven or hell.

I believe simply what the Bible says. More specifically, what Jesus says in the Bible.
There is no waiting room, there is no second chance after you die, it's either heaven or hell, based on what you believe is the truth.

#1. Do you believe Jesus was completely legit saying he was God in the flesh?

#2. Or, do you reject Jesus, believing he was a liar and was (for some reason) tricking everyone to believe he was God's son, knowing full well that he was going to get get betrayed, beaten, and murdered because of it?

Honestly, what makes more sense??? Think about it, everyone back then in Bible-times knew the rules. If you live in a place ruled by a certain religion, you can't just tell them to their faces "the way you have been living is sinful to your God because I AM YOUR GOD" without getting killed! Come on, use your noggin, Jesus had to know he was gonna get killed; one - because he predicted it (it's in the Bible) and two - because that's the way it worked back then. So surely nobody would lie about something they knew was going to bite them in the butt later on, that's just plain stupidity. Jesus had to be telling the truth, therefore: heaven and hell exist, there is a God, and Jesus is Lord. And if you don't believe any of those things, then that means that Jesus was lying (which, as I pointed out above, means that either Jesus was born with a mental problem or was just really really stupid.)

Mainly what I wanna say is this: If you don't believe in heaven or hell, then that means you REJECT Jesus, REJECT God, and REJECT every single person that wrote in the bible, because your basically saying that all of them lied. So if you don't accept the fact that there is a heaven and a hell, then you better HOPE that Jesus himself, every word in the Bible, me, and EVERY SINGLE Christ follower on this earth is flat-out lying, otherwise God's gonna dump some serious judgment on you...

There is no afterlife. We create our own Heaven and Hell (not the band) on this Earth. I believe that we are responsible for everything in our lives and we decide which we live in while we are alive.

Life after death only exists in memories you create in other people's minds and the things you do in your life to bring about change.

It seems as if everything you just said was the things YOU wanted. Never have I heard of a religion that believes after you die you hang out with the grim reaper and chat with a coyote... Are you just making all of this up because it's exactly what you want? If you are, then sorry pal, that's not the way it works here in this thing called "LIFE." But if you aren't, then please share why you think your religion is true...

Just out of curiosity, what is your view of heaven? In other words, what do you imagine heaven is like? Just a big white room, filled with winged people, singing baby songs like "Jesus loves me this I know," and playing shuffleboard with Abraham Lincoln? Come on dude, heaven is gonna be glorious. God made the whole freakin' universe, you don't he can at least make a place that's happy? Plus, you think it'll be too repetitive? Well then, think of it this way: is your life now repetitive? Of course not, right? Life here on earth is filled with variety, fun, excitement, am I wrong? Bottom line: Earth = non-repetitive, right? You get to do something new everyday. Well, God made earth, and He knows it's only temporary. So why would He make heaven, the place where people spend ETERNITY, a place that's dull, boring, and repetitive? That's what hell is, dude, not heaven...

Oh yeah, when you die, you get to go wherever you want to go and do whatever it is you wanted to do... what are you like 5??? Give me ONE REASON why anyone would want to consider that being true and then we can have a real discussion...
