here ia aomwthing i read up on and did less than a year ago...i found on youtube a video that changed my 30 gig zube into a hard drive/mass storage device...it worked well because i could put music and movies on there quicker...the movies did not work so well cause it did not convert it but the music loaded went without a hitch...i was also able to take the movies that were converted on the zune easily and put them on...i used this trick to bypass the automatic delete function in the zune software. i started by having a large file being converted to the zune so each time i plugged it in, it would convert that rather than deleting music on the device.. while it was syncing i would then go threw the 'my computer' menu and load it or delete stuff threw there...i was also able to store hidden files to take with me from computer to computer. Like i said i did this about a year ago on the 30 gig...but i am willing it will work with any ipod,zune,zen product

Sounds like when I was trying to edit a file on my Zune using Vim, I thought it worked at first, but then i realized it was just making a file in the temporary internet files.

didnt anyone read the two pages, it was prooven false plus this thread is like 5 months old, srry but for the time being we still cant access it

i even changed the registry and that never worked so ima gonna have to try this one!
