If anybody out there thinks that they can do anything with the Zune system files and/or boot files, I uploaded them for download. I know a lot of people have tried making firmwares for the Zune, but I just figured that there might be someone out there that could do something with these that nobody else could. Anyways, the ZIP folder is just an archive of all of the files contained in the Zune's nk.bin and EBoot.bin files. I thought that I would make them available to anybody that wants to take a look and didn't know how to get them. They've probably been made available for download previously, but I haven't seen anything so I thought I'd put them up. I got the firmware from the resources.zune.net website, and I got the full URL by looking at the packets being sent and received when the Zune software checks for firmware upates. Then I just used the usual CE tools to extract the files. Anyways, the link is down below and good luck to anyone that plays around with the files. And oh yeah, sorry if something similar to this has already been posted. If so, feel free to delete this post.

Forgot to mention that these are the Latest Zune 80GB Firmware Files. If anyone wants the files for a different Zune I can get them.
I uploaded the XML file that the Zune software checks for updates.
The Zune model is indicated by the &Rev_0X000 number(I guess the ModelID number too, but I like Rev better). I found out my Zune 80GB's Rev number by looking around in the registry. Once I got my Rev number, I navigated to the URL that corresponds to my Rev number. The XML file can be downloaded here:

I found some license data when I opened one of the DAT files in Notepad. Anyone know if this is important or just insignificant data?
If anyone wants to take a look, here's the TXT version of it:
