Try not to post more than once in a row.

Anyway, does the AC charger have a USB plug? If so, plug the Zune's cable into that.

I have a mobiblu charger for my 1500i (Cube), which has a USB port. It charges the Zune, but the Zune does not cycle through the charging animation. As stated in the portable zune charger thread, there needs to be a resistor connecting the V+ and the USB+ in order for the Zune to recognize the charger as authorized. The other thread says that a 15K ohm resistor is needed, but I havent been able to get it to work with that size.

Ohhh, to see if the zune is charging, unplug the charger, look at the battery icon, if it shows a lightning bolt, your Zune is charging.

You can try testing it. Plug your zune in a couple hours, while keeping track of where the charge level was when you started, and where it was when you stopped. If its more charged, then it works.

Most likely. Besides modding the charger or buying an authorized charger, there isnt much you can do, as far as i know.
