Default Folders in my zune

Excuse my ignorance , im not the most computer savy . New to zune . I have the 80GB model .

Thats alot of junk I can put on it . I need organization . Is there a way to make folders like you can on your windows desktop .

For example I could have a 'music' file with songs , a 'talk radio' file with talk radio , ect ? And maybe folders inside of folders too ! Same thing with videos , I would like to organize instead of looking through 500 files for the one I want .

Also I bought an FM transmitter on eaby , and it sucks . Paid about 15$ , dosnent come in to well . Some are better than others I assume ? what one do I want?

thx all

Sorry, but you can't make folders in the Music or Video sections, but, you could make categories for videos such as Movies, Music Videos, or Tv Shows, and for music, you could change the genre to podcast, and it will appear in somewhat of a folder, where you can name the podcast title, but not subfolders

If you want to organize your music, you could set a custom genre of music, i.e. Sleep Tunes or American Bands. You can't create folders, but you can set the genre to anything your heart desires and just listen to that genre. You could have Metallica, Enya, Frank Sinatra, Wayne Newton all labeled uner the genre "My Music." Not sure you could do that with video or podcasts though.

I have "Man of Constant Sorrow" by the Soggy Bottom Boys (O Brother, Where Art Thou?), "Time is Running Out" by Apollo Four Forty (S.W.A.T.), "Humans Being" by Van Halen (Twister) and "Oh Yeah" by Yellow (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) all under Soundtracks.

Default Setting the genre

Setting the genre for music works mostly. I have a lot of world music and I've updated the genres to the country of origin of the artist where this makes sense (i.e. where the main artists are mostly from the same country). The problem is that Zune assumes it makes sense that the album that the track belongs should have the same genre as the track. When you select the album of some genre then it shows you all the tracks for that album whether they're of the correct genre or not. This is a bug as far as I'm concerned, but I don't run into it too often.

I got the Zune car kit. It's pretty pricey (around $70 or so, not sure, it was a gift), but it comes with the FM transmitter and car pad. The transmitter is probably the highest quality one you can get. Most of the time it's very clear, but you have to keep it within a certain range, otherwise it gets angry and the signal cuts out =|

Too bad, I use to have an iRiver H340 and I could use folders to organize everything the way I want, it was great. Sorting through 500 albums sucks when you can just sort by Genre, Album or Artist.
I was really hoping this was possible with a Zune. I guess I'm gonna to have to re-tag everything and make a bunch of new genres.

Or I've even seen fm transmitters that plug into the cigarette lighter and have a nice LCD displaying the station that you are getting transmitted to on it.
