Zune hacks?

I have to say i havent seen any particularly interesting hacks on this site for the zune. Am i missing something here, where are the third-party aps to put on my zune? I realize its really difficult, and im not experienced at programing but when are they going to put up some real hacks or what are they?

These guys have been trying for quite some time to actually get a good hack in play to no avail.

It seems to me that Microsoft has given these novice script kiddies a run for their money.

The New Zunes have a large amount of things different on them compared to the old ones... before the new firmware came out the zuneboards H&M team had just finished their first firmware invasion which was a basic mod to the characters/language content. Give them time to get acquainted with the new hardware and software, and then some more time to develope exploits.

And once they break into it, give MS about a day to release the new firmware that changes stuff. And watch the cycle repeat! Hacking is fun

i say that since we do not have to use the zune software for the zune is a good enough hack right now, zune is really locked down, ms knows what they are doing when they make pmp's

Microsoft did a damn good job locking down the Zune. Hopefully a good dev(No offence zB guys, your great) gets his hand on a Zune and gets bored and wants to mod it.

I absolutely disagree with the "script kiddies" title. Anyone who is spending their own time coming up with something that can make someone else (maybe not the world as of now) life better deserves respect.

Um....no? They simply don't want thier device to be Hacked and they're obviously doing a good job at it. Atleast we have Games now.

Can't be done. People have tried. But it involves hacking the firmware, which is at the moment impossible.
