High-Q Forum Idea

I was wondering if there'd be any interest in something I'd like to call the High-Q Forum. In general, it'd be a place for people to test their wits. I was thinking it could have sub-forums of Challenges, Time Killers, and Contests.

Challenges would contain MENSA (or whatever it is) like questions or tasks the user should complete.

Time killers would contain links/activities recommended as a surefire cure for boredom. Doesn't necessarily have to deal with being smart.

Contests might not have something entirely to do with smarts, but it should be fun and challenging nonetheless. Users will compete for a prize of the poster's choosing. Prizes can range from something trivial (most of the time) to something worth some bucks (possibly zune accessories). I have a list of prizes in mind, but I want to keep them guessing so PM me if you need it.

If you think it's a good idea or would like to hear more, I have a list of a few forum-specific rules as well as a few requirements to get in.

That does sound awesome, recently I've spent alot of time staring at the forums, wishing for something on here to do other than work

That's what I'm thinking. This should be fun provided people contribute. I'll go ahead and draft up some plans in an attempt to move this along.

And if you think of anything more to add post it and I'll see what we can't do.

Sorry to spam the topic, but I'm going to be out of town for the next 3 weeks. I leave Monday. Timing's awful, I know. If you wouldn't mind holding off until then, I'd like to start out with a bang and give away a silicone case as our first contest.

Is there anyway I could know if this is going to get approved, or do we still need more support?

If everything goes down smoothly, I'll begin readying posts for the sub-sections.
