a religion forum

can we have a forum for serious religious discussion, spiritual encouragement, maybe even a section for questions on various religions/ specific verses

Would you like this forum to be open to the public? Or would you like it so that the "Religion group" is public and anyone can join, and then they will be able to access the forum? Would the religion board be about religion in general, or Christianity?

im okay with that, but i dont see a need for another section. theres too many already. we can just keep that in general discussion.

1. open to the public, but maybe block certain people out if they're a disturbance

2. any religion, because if there are any Jews/Buddhists/Muslims(or is it Islamics, i forget which is a nationality, and which is a religion) etc. I most certainly want to know about the religions and they're beliefs, because I want to be well rounded.

Hrm, maybe we'll try it out and make a subforum under "Misc." If it fails to become active, than I'll have no choice but remove it. You will be moderating the forum, but will not have access to the Staff Forum, until proven respectful and trustful. Since you will be moderating the forum, it is your responsibility to keep it active!

If you agree, then I'll go ahead and make it tomorrow morning.

I guess that'd be up to Rock and whoever else wants to have religious discussion. He/they can advertise it in general discussion, and things like that.

If you want a forum, be it a usergroup, or a regular forum, you have to make sure people will want to participate, so if people want to have religious discussion, they'll make sure there are others that want to as well.

Besides, it's not like it being a a regular forum would have boosted it's popularity, we have plenty of regular forums that aren't active.

It can still be public, just not a regular forum. We were in the process of reducing the number of forums we have, and adding another one, that most likely won't be too popular doesn't make sense.

As a public group, anyone can join, but people that don't want to view it, won't.
