Here is a free FTP server for you guys. Upload and download what you want (Movie,TV show) Please don't put nonsense in there. This is going to be very hard to keep it Zuneboards only. But its a try.

Directions:

1) Go here and download FileZilla (or any ftp client)

2) Once installed go to File

3) Site Manager

4) New site (its at the bottom)

5) And Fill in the supplied info.

Host: ftp.fatcow.com Port:21
Log on type: Normal
User: zuneboards
Password: upload

I hope this helps Zuneboards community.

Right now there is nothing there but once ppl start to use it it should do really well.

Yesr it is, as long as the ftp doesn't suddenly go offline and ppl aren't able to access their files.

This was a genius idea. Just as long as sombody doesnt be a boo boo head about it.

Just a quick question though how do you link to a DL for regular people so they dont have to sign in to DL?

that works but you still need to give a password and user name if you aren't logged on to the server.
Whats is the domain name of his site it will be that to just have access to the file so it would look like this
http://domain.whatever/wh atever/filename

You dont need a pass to download, only upload.

no you need a pass word close your browser and try it will ask for a password and user name you were just logged on since you uploaded it.

EDIT:Plus there is not a cheats.bin file on the server

Buddy trust me, there is. I click the link and a download window opens up. Also im looking at the file in the ftp right now.

well i keep getting a 404 forbidden error because the anyounm or whatever puts http:// in front of it i still get a log in window when i open it in a new window but not the window that i had open since i was logged on. and there isn't a zuneboards folder I uploaded something here is what it should look like ftp://ftp.fatcow.com/Musiq/VanHalenThreedaysgrace.rar
EDIT: and it still needs a password when you close the browser that you where logged on on then when you open it in a new one you open

Also, you dont need any pass word to download, only to upload. I just downloaded your rar with no problems.

Edit: I think you might be right about the login screen thing. I think its my download manager that bypasses this.
