FLV to WMV

So does anybody know a site that can convert FLV videos straight to WMV?

I have Total Video Converter, it ain't bad but it doesnt support WMV, so what I do is convert FLV to MP4 then with AVS MP4 to WMV

Does anybody know one that does FLV to WMV or what would be the fastest to convert my FLV vidz... like FLV to AVI to WMV or FLV to MP3 to WMV.....

I have converted several "YouTube" videos and the like to the Zune (which all have been FLV) using this software...

RIVA FLV Encoder v2.0 -

This software is freeware (really) and will convert FLV straight to WMV. Furthermore, it will not require any additional conversion before working on the Zune device either! :winkle:

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Don't forget to change the "output" extension (usually .FLV) to .WMV before encoding!

I followed the tutorial (contains screenshots) linked below with the following changes...

* Changed the output file extension to .WMV
* Changed the framerate to 24
* Changed the bitrate to 128
* Changed the sampling rate to 44100
* Changed the Channels to Stereo

(Only the first change is probably required to make things work)

There should be little need for a separate FLV player should you decide you need one since one is installed for you along with the encoder. I listed it here like this so that people are able to reproduce what I actually did and experiment from there.

When I use the RIVA FLV Encoder to convert to wmv, I get audio but no video. Anyone else have this problem or something similar? .mpg works fine though.

Riva isn't doing anything for me. I changed the output to WMV, and the converted file says its a WMV file, but Zune claims that it doesn't have the proper codecs to play it...

any ideas??

Go ahead and download the cucusoft vid converter along with a good codec pack if you dont have it...you will find both in the tools section.
I convert flvs all the time.
Works just fine.

This does it for free, on a website all u do is download

Above is the link for a great, easy-to-use converter that I found. Coverts flv quickly to wmv, with custom settings ad everything.
