Wow. Did you know scientists predict that space travel will be common in 50 years?

Heh, they also vowed to reach the moon within a decade in the 60's, and we still can't.

You're not missing anything, what you have is too much trust in the government. I don't think we got to the moon. One reason being that it has been said, officially mind you, that we can't get to it now.

Exactly. We had to win the space race, by any means.

I have never considered that possibility. Do they have any evidence to back this idea?

Lol, are you just f*cking with me? You've never heard of this theory? Google it man, it's one of the bigger 'conspiracy' theories. There's lots of evidence to suggest that we never landed, and a lot of evidence that suggests we coudn't have landed on the moon then. I think a layer of radiation around the Moon was discovered recently, meaning that we didn't know of it then..

There's tons of it, if you're not messing with me go google it.

I did some research on Google Earth and found that the moon is really made of cheese!

if you want evidence, heres evidence. the video they took of the american flag that neil armstrong placed on the moon was moving in the wind but the thing is.... wot fukkin wind, there is no wind on the moon. it was all done in a studio. i rest my case. like every1 has said, google it.

Lol, that's one of the arguments, but the counter of that has been that since their is no wind or anything, when they took the flag out of where ever it was, it was already wrinkled (looking like it's blowing in the wind), and since it's the moon, it wouldn't have settled into place, but stayed in the position it was in.

The reason we "can't" get to it now is because we no longer have spacecraft able to land on the surface. They weren't designed for that sort of mission. It takes time to rebuild that type of craft.
