Default Where to download WMVs?

So as most people know, The Zune only excepts WMV format videos without converting them. I have a very old computer and it takes hours to convert movies or any other video.

Does anybody know sites that have WMV videos to download?

Also sites that have there videos in WMV format, so I can just download them directly using VideoDownloader

Thanks

Not many places have videos in .wmv format. I think it'll be pretty hard to find a site or sites that have videos already in .wmv format. Maybe after a while, people will start uploading videos already in wmv format, like people did for the ipod (in mp4).

They aren't real movies, but there are tons of user submitted movies made with The Movies game here: http://movies.lionhead.com/index.html

Most are short (between 0 and 5 minutes) but there are some longer ones (15 to 30 minutes). If anyone is interested, I can post links of some of the better ones. They are all in wmv format. I did list a few of mine here: http://zuneboards.com/showthread.php...ction=lastpost

Hope that helps.

yeah unfortunately its very hard to find movies in .wmv formats.
no one watches movies in .wmv formats and most popular format is .avi, so we're all in the same boat.

I broke down and bought the cucusoft video converter suite (found it on sale for $20). If anyone gets it, at this time the link they give you is an old version that doesn't convert to wmv, but mp4. After I e-mailed them about this, they told me to download the new version, but their links on the site were wrong. Thankfully they gave me the new version number, so I just changed the download link to reflect the new number and it works fine now. Hopefully they will correct their links now that I've told them about it. I still haven't figured out why it doesn't save my widescreen movies as widescreen, but otherwise it's a decent converter.

Well, I ripped/converted my Evolution dvd earlier tonight and it's about 1hr and 45minutes long. The conversion finished in about 40 to 45 minutes. Not sure how that compares to others.

That's pretty quick. For a 30 minute tv show (1 episode), it takes about 20 minutes to convert.

Check out Soapbox: http://uuv2.msn.com.edgesuite.net/zunevids/default.html

It is like YouTube, but Microsoft version. It gives downloads in .wmv for the Zune.
