Okay, now that you have Firefox, get the following plugin: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/

After you installed the plugin, and gotten the video file, then you need a converter. brb.

Hrm.. I can't seem to find any free flv to video converter.

Winavi can convert from the basic filetypes, avi, mpeg, wmv, to either one of those. It doesn't however, convert mp4's.

The flash video format. It's the format in which all YouTube videos are in.

Ya? I could have sworn I've gotten some .avi's from there. Ya, flash is one of the few things AVS can't convert. It can convert to flash, but not convert an actual flash file.

BTW, it turns out I had that plugin before, and I had never used it. so i downloaded a youtube video, changed it to .flv and used the VLC media player(which was on my system already) ..works great!

Do the download for iPod / PSP or whatever. You need no plugins its already on google video. Saves to .mp4
