http://keepvid.comallows you to get movies off of myspace, youtube, and many other sites. It downloads the file to .flv so you'll have to convert it over.

Yeah, theres also a ton of add-ons to firefox that can do that, the hard part is getting them to convert, theres some videos that I can never get to convert from an .flv

Riva Converter is good. But I don't know how to use it.

3GP converter works the best, it converts .flv's to MP4's.

I personally like Total Video Converter. Its fast and it gets the job done.
