American Idol Winners and the show itself starting to SUCK???

Following the low ratings for American Idol and the news that Taylor Hicks and Ruben Studdard and possibly that Jordan chick whose song- if you take away the lyrics and listen to the beat, you can almost sing Beyonce's Irreplacable song over the beat and it wouldn't make much difference-as well as others famous winners and runner ups getting the boot mean that this phenominon of a show is finally going down the drain?

I have always hated this show, and mostly ALL "reality" programing. I always found it interesting that MILLIONS of people vote for this show, yet not one, with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 "artists" can't sell any albums. Why vote for these people to make records and not buy them?!?!

Its not about the show "starting" to suck. Its the exact same thing from the first season, second season, etc etc etc. Its stale.

Thats the problem with game shows (yes, it is a game show.) They die off after a few years because its the same thing over and over and over again. There are only 3 of which i can think right now, that have managed to stay out of the norm.

I stopped watching after the second season, but have begun watching this season, I'm so desperate for new shows, I can't wait til the writers strike is over, I'm not good at entertaining myself

I remember my mom used to watch it until the Rueben and Clay thing happened. She was pissed how Rueben won but Clay got a CD out first which was against the contract and Rueben got no love at all. They really need to stop this show though. Its so lame and always has been.

man, this show just sucks....end of story...hopefully end of show as well....ugh. seriously, they should just cancel the damn thing....i remember watching Fox news,and they were saying (people from American Idol) that it is their best season yet....wtf?!
