This is the "final" version!

Description: Once you begin your session, you play the sounds by pressing buttons to make a song. This has been requested many times also. I have seen it being requested in forms such as "Music Creator" or "Zune Insturments" or "Punk-O-Matic."

How To Change The Sounds
It comes with 7 sample sounds. To change this: Click "Content">Audio Right click it then hit existing item, add the sound then change the name to a number(Call it One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, or Seven). Make sure there is only seven sounds with the above names.

What you can expect
Quit due to lack of interest and things to do.

Known Bugs
-If over 16 sounds play at the same time it crashes.

An open-source license needs to be specified for this game for it to remain in the open-source applications subforum. I'm going to move it to the restricted forum until this gets corrected.

If you want this moved back where it was, you need to specify a license (such as the BSD license, GPL, or MS-PL).

Cool application.
There is a way that would stop the program from playing more than 16 sound effects at once but it is a two edged sword because it would also make it so that only one instance of each sound clip could play at one time. That might mess with the sound you have going right now.

It would be cool if each note was broken into 3 parts.
The first being the start of a note-Played when you press a button.
The second being looped until the button is released, when the loop is stooped.
The third being the note fading out, called at the same time the loop ends.

The only problem is I don't know if SoundEffectInstance member State "Gets the current state (playing, paused, or stopped) of the SoundEffectInstance."
could be used to tell when a sound clip had ended normally (by playing to the end of its sample) and not just been stopped by a command. The Duration member of the SoundEffect class might also be a possibility but that sounds more tricky.

You forgot this. Just shove it where you load content.
mainFrame.Height = 320;
mainFrame.Width = 240;
mainFrame.X = 0;
mainFrame.Y = 0;
This defines the rectangle that you use to draw your background.
