Yes, but i would like my zune to be the alarm clock. At least this way i can choose what i want to wake up to. Hopefully coming soon, I'll keep my fingures crossed.
same boat. there are like 5 radio stations in my city and i trust none of them explicitly with the distinct honour of raising me from my slumber. PLUUUUUUUUUS, i am broke as a joke (uni student), ergo, I NEED FREE THINGS!
ps. would use my desktop pc but alas, the motherboard caught on fire ( times about $150)

Easy now. So why does this thing still need to restart? I haven't seen any posts about it yet.
Because Microsoft's afraid that if it doesn't restart, someone will find some way to hack it. Since Microsoft doesn't need to hack itself, it allows its own games to exit sans reboot.
LOL FYI, I'm no noob. They originally had it restart to avoid crashing the software if there was a bad program or app. However, I assumed since the games feature was now incorporated directly into the firmware, they may have found a smarter way for it to work. I'm a regular on Zunescene, but they don't have much intel on the new games (yet).

FYI, that was a cover story. On top of that, the new games aren't incorporated into the new firmware; they're deployed along with the firmware by the Zune software.
easy there Catnat... no need to flip out on those under you...
also... why did brettiscool convert the clock? who will honestly spend several seconds to glance at the clock, get into the app, and glance at it again just to see a custom background. I'm not offending your work brett, just saying it doesn't make much sense...

Oh hey, I just saw the other post before I said "lol". So the games aren't actually part of the firmware...Makes sense now that I think about it. I was given the option to not install the games suite so....Yeah it makes sense. Sorry to rile everyone up. My bad guys.
