The signature depends on what/how your playing. If your playing regular music 4/4 is all you need but if your doing something like the waltz then its 3/4. I've even made stuff on 6/8 and various other sigs. It just changes the feel of the music.
The Metronome was designed to work with frequences of up to 208 bpm but for some reason the Zune seems not to work at a steady speed in the higher bpm regions.... You will notice this when listening to the ticking sound. I will investigate where the problem lies (but it seems to me that the SoundEffect.Play method needs differing time to play a sound each time it is called). Away from that I think the timing works well in the lower regions. It should work fine at least until 120 bpm. But I am no musician so please test it out yourself.
Srry to hear that it can only handle 208 bpm, but i would love for it to at leasts go as high as 240 bpm. Anyways, I love this metronome and I-Pod can't do sh*t about it.
I'm a musician, not a very good one, but i know the basics so I'll test this app and get back to you

it's ok, but it needs more options, such as 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, ect... (any musician know what I'm talking about)and for those who don't, you currently have it set to go on every note, in 1/4 it will only go on the first note of every measure of 4 notes, 2/4 is the same with the second note and so on. and the bpm should not be set i increments of 2 but allow increments of 1 as well( there are few but some songs that require these strange bpms and if it is off by 1 bpm it can throw the musician completely off tempo) but other than that It's pretty good

I doubt you do, as you can see, many people have downloaded this without the need of screenshots. They are optional for the developer as in-game screenshots are a bit hard to take if:
a) you dont have a camera
b) you only wrote the game for the zune and not Windows
I might not download it. But I speak for everyone when I say, "No Pics, No Clicks."
I did not make the app to get as much bandwidth overload on my webspace as possible. I made it just for people that have a use for it. For people that don't complain about things they get for free. But anyway, I added a screenshot, just to satisfy people that need one (even if the graphics are somewhat regardless in a metronome).
Oh, and Silent545:
I will take a look at this when I have some more time. I am working at double capacity on Valgard's Fate at the moment, so there is no time for other things right now... When I get some air to breathe again, I will add this (in fact I will delete the bpm-ring, because thats the part that constrains me in bpm selection).
nice.
besides being a great way to keep time if you're playing a musical instrument, metronomes are a great way to get to sleep and drown out background noises (e.g. Se7en)
