hey guys. im kinda new to this and i hav no idea
how to install this program into my zune.
i downloaded zblader but it doesnt get me anywhere close.
You will need Visual Studio 2008 Express and XNA 3.0 Development Tools. Eventually, this will all be automated through the Zune software, but that won't be until Zune Games is officially released.
Yes, 1.2 was skipped. I put a lot of work into it and did everything that I was going to do in 1.3, so I am calling it 1.3. I do need more ideas for the next version, currently the only thing I have is a More Sleep Button, which would fuction the same as it does on alarm clocks (i.e. gives you 5-15 more mins of sleep).
Let me know if you run into any bugs in this release, thanks!
This is by far the best app I've seen for the Zune yet. It is amazing, really. There's a Zune Home project being worked on, that would be awesome if this app was in it. So when I'm done with games I can set my sleep timer.
Is there anyway to change songs or set it on shuffle while on sleep timer?

LedZepp is right. Not sure why they made it this way, but if the volume of your Zune is turned down, then the application or game can only play as loud as that level that it was set to before entering the game/application. My guess is they might fix this later, but at least for now, turn your volume up to max before you go to bed.
Also, with the countdown timer, you can do a quick test that will let you hear how loud it will be.

Is there a way to listen to music for 30 minutes...then have the music stop... then in the morning, alarm 1 goes off.
Could you please add a way to shuffle the music?
is there any way you can can make it so when you choose a song, instead of playing the same song over and over again it goes on to the next song or shuffles? idk if thats what your already working on but it would be really helpful. thanks 4 making this great app!
When selecting music, you have "Play All" options for each Artist, Playlist, and for your entire library. They are the very first option that shows up under each type. If you select that, then it will play through your music.
I am building a shuffle mode into the application, however if you select an individual song, it will only play that song. You will need to select one of the "Play All" options.
Yes, shuffle should fix that problem for you. It will be under settings and whenever it is on and a SongCollection (not single Songs) plays or changes songs, it will select a random song out of the song Queue and play that. 1.4 is pretty close to being complete, the last thing I've got to do is the Sleep Button.
Do let me know if it works for you or not, when 1.4 is released
There is one thing that I think should be changed in the count down timer. Would it be possible to have a "None" setting for the alarm? I like to turn it on the setting "listen to music", but I don't always want an alarm sound after the timer goes off.
I like to listen to 30 minutes of music while I fall asleep at night, then I want the music to shut off.... then in the morning I want my alarm to go off. This would require a volume setting for this option because the music will need to be quiet, and the alarm will need to be 100 % volume.
One bug...sometimes it crashes when scrolling through pictures for your custom background.
I haven't tested the application with the Zune Docks yet, but if you know of an application that does, let me know and I will take a look at it. If someone else has done it, then it should be pretty simple to make it work in this app.
The next release will be pretty cool, I've been working like mad on it. Unfortunately because there are so much new and fixed stuff, it requires a ton of testing.
Why Doen't This App Work With The Zune Dock? Is It Possible To Make It Work With It?
This app works with docks...but you have to put your zune on your dock...then you have to turn on your dock or whatever it requires so that the dock can take over your zune. While your zune is in the dock you must go to the game menu and start the application. The application must be started from the dock or it will not pick up the music. You can also try turning on music before you enter the application(while plugged into dock) then once the app loads your music should be playing then just go into the menu and hit "stop music", then turn on what ever alarm or sleeptimer you want.
I am using this application with my Zune Kicker 500. It works as long as I start the app while the zune is connected to the dock. If I start the app in my hand and then plug my zune into the dock... I get no sound. That is because the Dock has to make a connection with the firmware of your device to connect to the zune. If your app is already started, it can't make this connection.
