just wondering....is it possible to have a zune log onto zim and start texting, and this texing alerts a nearby zune that they are getting a text? Can all this happen while the nearby zune is not even in the app?
I don't know if anyone asked this Q already.... but really, great app. I just need someone with a zune now.

No, applications cannot run as services, they have to be currently running in the foreground. You can try sending a picture saying "get onto ZIM" instead

turn on two zunes and their wireless, make one load ZIM and wait until it says Entered Chat or something, then make the other zune load the instant messenger.
Thanks soo much! I've seen people complaining about typing time (I don't think it's a huge issue) but, could you use a cell phone type guessing program or would that be way hard to program?
Nurta, i've been thinking about creating a notepad type app for the zune, and I was wondering if I could use the keyboard from ZIM? if so, I do plan on mentioning you for the keyboard, but I figured that if something works, why re-create the wheel?

Xbox live/Zune= Epocilyps. Invites are fine. need people with zunes on my friends list.
I took my friend's zune 8 and put it on there, and it worked fine for them. But on my zune 30, any time i try to say anything, it says "ERROR: SESSION NOT STARTED." I have my wireless on. Her zune will say what she wants it to say, but i can't see it on mine.
EDIT: nevermind. Read Itsjared's post and it works now.
