and its not really needed unless you could allow it to run in the background, which is definately impossible at this point

Yeah, it would require hardware enhancements, which are out of the picture at this point.

Would that only be available with the Pink zune?

so how do you get it to find a friend to talk to, cuz i press play game and it doesn't show me my friend's zune when we're both on the app.

You have to start it on Zune 1, wait until it says new session started and then start it on Zune 2-16

I used the multiplayer code from ionman's example, so thanks to him.

backspace=back button
space=play button
send message=hold play button

UPDATED!

This change adds in a lot more error handling. I improved the look and made it landscape. I removed the character limit, however have not put in word wrap. I have added ZunePad support, and the keyboard is now a proper qwerty and is much quicker to use. It tells you if your WIFI is off instead of mystery crashing.

Next version I plan on adding emoticons, putting in wordwrap, adding an option for more characters (secondary keyboard), and fixing an errors that come up

UPDATED AGAIN!

This change includes wordwrap, smilies, some interface improvements, and automated capitalization.

The smilies are text based and appear as images when you send the message, capitalization does not matter. The smilies are:

:)
/cool
/blush
/eyeroll
/stare
/tounge
;)
/yawn

You have to be in the area of someone else's zune that has a chat started to get messages.

hey nice app, but it would be better if it would say when the other person disconnects or if it had a section for the smilies. other than that it is a great application.
