Correct, then you may either replace the declaration of my font variable
font = Content.Load<SpriteFont>((your spritefonts name without the .SpriteFont))
or create a new SpriteFont variable if you want to keep my font
Please explore the MediaPlayer class, as this is easy to figure out and i want you to learn on your own
Ledzepp, does the updated file include any of the updates Huntsman85 made?
No it doesnt, just the ability to hide the timer and if you have music playing when entering the app it will not show you the song selection screen.
I didnt find anything wrong with my controls so i didnt change them, And i find no real reason to fix the way the timer shows as you arent supposed to be staring at it long enough to cause a seizure , and i didnt see a reason to add the volume level because then it would use more battery to display it(not much but it still affects it) as well as making the screen brighter.
I would love volume contol but thats obviously out of the picture, I dont really understand why you did like nano seconds but ok... other than that its an awesome app, and is greatly appricated.

When on the Time Left screen use up and down to adjust volume. The nano seconds are just there, i didnt choose to include them
Improvements:
Menu System
Background Changer(Black uses the most battery)
NO MILLISECONDS.... I would rather just watch the seconds.
Overall GREAT PROGRAM
+rep
What would you like to see as far as a menu? I dont really think anything else needs to be done to this.
Black does use up more battery if its constantly changing from black to another color, if its repeatedly staying black it doesnt(you can hide the timer to make it completely black by pressing the center button on the time left screen).
Again as far as the milliseconds go, your not actually supposed to be looking at the timer, If i do another update i might consider taking them out because of all the complaints, but i dont have anything to update it with right now.
This is a great app and one I really wished was on the Zune when I got it.
One question though: Why require that you choose something to play within the app? You can listen to radio or music as you go into the app, so why use the app to choose music?
My main listening habit is to the radio as I go to sleep. The radio can be on as you enter the app, but then the app makes you choose music. Why not be able to just set the time, and then let the app close down when the time is up with whatever is playing in the background? Altenatively, radio could be added to the app, but I figure that is much more difficult than just creating an app with a timer and no music option.

Thanks for a great app!
If you are listening to music when going in to this, it will skip the song selection, This probably doesnt work with the radio because its the radio and not the media player. There is no way to add radio to any code yet, it is unsupported in the CTP version, hopefully it will get fixed in the holiday release.
Okay, if radio is the only problem, it's not worth fixing. As it works now, I can have the radio on going into the program and it will play the silent file from my quick list over the radio audio. Obviously, you can't tell the difference as the radio keeps playing with the silent file in the background.
Took me forever to find a silent mp3 online. I thought that would be pretty easy, but I guess not.
sweet app dude. but if you could make the time go by with out moving so much tha twould be cool. maybe if you make it left justified instead of centered or something. just a suggestion.
How to use:
The first screen you will see is the amount of time you would like to set.
Choose hours first(you may leave any of these at zero), then click the center button to move to the next amount. After you enter in the seconds, you will be taken to the music selection screen. Use left and right to navigate between Random, Artists, Playlists, and Albums. Press up/down to move to the previous/next choice, hold the button down to move faster(it goes pretty fast). Press the center button when you found what you want to listen to and you will be taken to the last screen. It displays the time left. Press up/down to adjust volume and press left/right to move between songs.
At anytime you may press the back button to move back a screen(or for the time set it will move back to the previous time set).
Note: If you press back when on the last screen(time left screen) you will be taken back to music selection and your timer will be reset to what you had chosen, it will not continue.
When the time left is 0, it will exit the game and restart your zune. If you want it to shut down instead of restarting, when the timer starts just switch the hold button to on and it will stop it from starting back up when it shuts down.
