Default Maxtor 80GB One Touch III Mini Edition for $43.96

Circuit City has the Maxtor 80GB One Touch III Mini Edition for only $43.96, it's out of stock online but you can check if they have it at your local Circuit City. Cheapest on Pricegrabber is $68.

Features
• 80GB capacity
• USB connectivity
• 5400RPM
• Easily portable
• 8MB cache
• For PC or Macs

Instant storage: Get loads of add-on storage with this reliable Maxtor external hard drive. Use it to store up to 80GB of photos, songs, digital video and documents while you free-up space on your computer.

Strong performance: The Maxtor One Touch III, Mini Edition hard drive features a 5400RPM spindle speed, 8MB cache buffer and USB 2.0 interface to enhance your data accessing speed.

Easy to use: Connect using the USB 2.0 cable. The Mini draws power from the computer, to help free you from carrying around an extra power cord.

Portable: Work and play on the go. This lightweight, portable drive lets you bring important files with you.

Maxtor DriveLock™: Use a password to protect the contents of your drive for an extra measure of security.

System rollback: This feature restores your system to a point in time just before your system crashed, while keeping your current data safe and up to date.

System requirements:
Windows® 2000 Professional, XP Professional or XP Home Edition, Pentium III, 500MHz processor or higher
Mac OS X (10.2.8 or later) or higher
128 MB (256 recommended) RAM or more
CD-ROM drive, Internet connection available, USB 1.1 or 2.0 port

Alright! I have this at home and this is the most useful things I ever bought. My dominate computer is a laptop so it only has 60GB hard drive but thanks to this little thing I have 80GB more! It's so useful and what I love about it is the size. It's small enough to bring it with you on the go, for example I bring this to my friends house and we can all watch movies.
I'm telling you, if you're looking for a external hard drive you MUST get this. This is officially Jon Approved

Check out the reviews while you're at it.

Yeah, I don't have that much files so the extra space would just be a waste. I still have like 40GB free on mine right now.

pretty true.. no need for big hard drive if your not really using it as a giant back up or a video storage drives... some people need lots of them for storage.. so sometime.. you should just shop around and see if you can find any cheaper.... 80gb should be enough for people to back up their computers though.. lol

I bought a 500gb Western Digital external last summer... I only have about 200gbs left now, and it only seems like I'm gonna need more. I might buy a 1TB external (Or just get my Desktop with 1TB or more in it) this summer... I would say, if you have a lot of media, don't buy this. If you'd like to back up your files, or just possibly back up the music for your Zune 80, buy this. It's portable, so it's not really meant to hold a lot of stuff.

Heh, I have nothing to back up though. My laptop is plain and simple. I'm not a computer freak
