Default Best Albums from the First Half of 2008?

Thought this might be interesting. Just list the best 10 or 15 albums released so far this year that you've heard. I'll be back with my list.

I'm not sure I have heard any good albums this year...but there are some albums I am looking forward to.

So far I think the best has been The Cavalera Conspiracy's Inflikted. I'm a huge Max and Igor Cavalera fan and to see those two reunited and playing again is simply amazing. However. The new Judas Priest album comes out in another week or two so we'll see how that is.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.[/

Elvis Costello & the Imposters - Momofuku
Gnarls Barkley - The Odd Couple
Eileen Rose - At Our Tables
Sam Phillips - Don't Do Anything
Drive-By Trucks - Brighter Than Creation's Dark
Aimee Mann - Smilers
The Duke Spirit - Neptune
Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons...
Grip Grand - Brokelore
Thalia Zedek - Liars and Prayer
Allison Moorer - Mockingbird
Room Eleven - Mmm... Gumbo?
T-Bone Burnett - Tooth of Crime
Old 97's - Blame It On Gravity

We Are the Nightmare, by Arsis
In Waking, Divinity, by The Breathing Process
Blooddrunk, by Children of Bodom
Turning Season Within, by Draconian
Zero Nexus, by Shade Empire
The Formation of Damnation, by Testament
Silhouettes, by Textures

I'd add Nostradamus, by Judas Priest, but technically I haven't heard the album yet. But I'm 99.9% it'll kick ass.

I heard the new single from Motley Crue, Saints of Los Angeles, and it's pretty sweet, even though I'm not much of a fan of them. But Candlebox's new album should hopefully be decent. And I need to get Weezer's new album.

CapaRezza's Le Dimensioni Del Mio Caos
MOSIAC.WAV's Amusement Park

So far for me.

I will have to check out some of the other albums on in this thread, especially Elvis Costello.

hey. I don't insult your musical tastes, so please don't insult mine
(I also find it ironic that you insult metalheads but listen to deathcore)

I don't insult metalheads.
Disturbed is heavy rock, not metal. Don't get it confused. They're just like Nickelback.

qft
there is NO comparing Disturbed to Nickelback. Disturbed straddles the rock/Metal line, having some metal moments, but they are more rock then metal, but you were insulting matalheads in the other thread.

I wasn't insulting metalheads...? Anyway, Nickelback's album from '96 I believe, Curb, is pretty rockin'. I recommend anyway who doesn't like Nickelback to listen to that, much better than their crap of today.
