Maiden and Anthrax

So I went to see Iron Maiden last night in Irvine California. Anthrax opened for them with their new singer. He's really good and because he is so young he brings a new level of energy to the band. Scot Ian is still one of the most intense mother ****ers in metal.

Iron Maiden's set was outstanding. I saw them back in February in Los Angeles. They stuck to the same set list but brought some new theatrics with them. During Number of the Beast they had this 12 foot tall Satan sitting in the back of the stage. During the song Iron Maiden they had the huge 25ft tall Eddie mummy come out and during the Encore they had the 12 Ft tall Eddie from the Somewhere in time album come out. It was such a phenomenal experience.

That is so frickin' sweet, I can't even describe. A friend of mine is going to a Maiden concert too, but no tickets for me. ;_;
