now that it leaked, what are your thoughts? I find it to be their most

album yet. If I am PMed about a link i will not *cough cough wink* give out a link.

Well, I haven't heard the full leaked version, but from the songs I have heard (Perfect Insanity, Inside the Fire, Midlife Crisis), I have to say I'm looking at it with some trepidation. Ten Thousand Fists was a great album with some real growth, but to me, this sounds like a step back into commerical appeal and nu-metal. It seems to lack that edge that David promised us last year. Inside the Fire was a great song, but only after I saw the video and got a full explenation; on a technical level, I've heard far better. Perfect Insanity was also offputing at first. Sometimes it takes time for a song to grow on me, but usually the best songs make an instant impression (excellent example would be Iron Maiden's 2 Minutes to Midnight). Midlife Crisis was actually pretty good, it's definitely in the range of what the band is capable of; a little too safe, even. But it's still good.

EDIT: Pity. They decided not to include Midlife Crisis. It would have been nice to hear that fully mastered. At least they got Criminal this time around. Here's hoping for an EP!

the watermark is a woman's voice in a few songs, you may have not noticed it.

Well, do remember that Perfect Insanity is an old song of theirs. They just re-did it for this album.

also Locke, I actually like this CD best, and HATED midlife crisis. I love the cd for its lyrics. they touched me[thats what she said, and I just lost The Game] and I really the sound. indestructible may be their best song ever imo.
