Yea, I've only listened to one Christian rap group.
The Cross Movement

Toby Mac is awful. I saw him twice, couldn't stand him.
Check out Skillet for an okay christian band. I don't like them but a lot of people do.

Boomin' is about the only song I think it halfway decent.
Father Stan isn't that good either.

Go for Underneath the Gun, With Blood Comes Cleansing, Mortification, Temple of Blood, The Advent, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, Becoming the Archetype, The Showdown, Before Their Eyes, xDeathstarx, Disciple, High Flight Society, Thousand Foot Krutch(on occasion), Inhale/Exhale, Jesus Wept, Living Sacrifice, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, MyChildren Mybride, and Soul Embraced. Phweh. Those are probably my top pics.

Thousand Foot Krutch is pretty awesome. I saw them live and it was epic. Chevelle is also Christian (I've heard).

Falling Up is a really good Christian band. You should check out their latest album, Captiva.

Chevelle is made of Christians, but their past two albums have not been "Christian." A little profanity now and then doesn't bother me, but appearantly that makes them not Christian to a lot of people. And the lyrics aren't exactly typical Christian lyrics either, though I don't really have a problem with them either. Just not a band for the kiddies, that's all. I've heard one Falling Up song before(Escalates, I think it was), and it was pretty good.

I know for a fact The Showdown isn't a "christian" band, they're christians in a band. That's what they told me at least.

To a degree, you're right. They definitely don't fit the mold of "CCM." The only reason I put them there is because, unlike bands like Creed, Evanescence, or Chevelle, they haven't outright rejected their Christian label. Unless you've seen something I haven't. If you have, I'd love to take a look at it.

Blindside is also very good. They have a new album (The Black Rose EP?) which I haven't had a chance to listen to yet, but their previous stuff is awesome.

man, I LOVE Family Force Five. I think my favorite song would either be Love Addict or Earthquake. But i can listen to every track of their CD and not get tired of it. I didn't know that Maylene was Christian, can someone provide truth for that?

hey guys, if you are into the christian/emo/alternative check out: A Rotterdam November (sounds like 3DaysGrace, Panic! at the Disco, and others) at www.myspace.com/arotterdamnovember (this is my personal favorite band of all freakin' time) and also, check out Wavorly, another good christian/emo-ish band. RED is another amazing band, as well as The Afters, Underoath, The Almost, and Anberlin. any others?

i actually don't like Red that much, sorry man, But the Afters were amazing. I saw them in concert before they got big.
