The 90's, to me, produced the best rock ever. But that's only to me of course.
Stuff like: Alice In Chains Nirvana Soundgarden Mad Season Moist Weezer Stone Temple Pilots (Yes, they are back together!) Tripping Daisy And much more! Name any 90's bands you like.

it wasn't my FAVORITE, but i liked it, Nirvana was my favorite band in the eighth grade. I forgot about most of these guys. Like Soundgarden, forgot they existed!

Foo Fighters were pretty good. I don't care for their new album, though. I forgot Candlebox, who is also back together! They are freakin' awesome.

Agreed. Grunge set a low standard of talent for musicians. I honestly never saw what the big deal was with Nirvana or Kurt Cobain. Cobain was incompetent at everything including life.

Grunge was amazing. I wish it was still alive. The music had great sounding guitar in it and men had balls back then. I don't see how today's music came from it to be honest. Most of today's music is guys that sound like girls and guitar that has no feeling.

As someone who was a teenager in the 60's and early 70's we had the best music era.
80's wasn't too bad before grunge, but a lot of grunge onward "music" is hard to listen to. I have most of the music from the bands you listed, but there's not a lot of talent out there. Mostly noise. You have to remember, the record companies don't care what you listen to as long as they can make $$$ from it. ![]()

I listen to rock from the 60's on, but the 90's is still my favorite, and I understand the talent in the music 60's and 70's and I respect it, it's just that the 90's has the best feeling to me. But it's all good to me, it's just today's music that sucks for the most part.

I'm a DJ at a classic rock radio station, 60s 70s and 80s. That's good rock right there. I'm more of a 70s and 80s rock kind of guy. I do like some 90s though, Nirvana, Weezer, Stone Temple Pilots, (does Third Eye Blind, Incubus count?).
