Metallica before the Black Album... The black album was an alright album on it's own but it was the omen of things to come... ...And Justice For All was their last good effort.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.[/

Exactly what I was thinking. I still have a love for Master of Puppets above all others solely because of Battery. Freakin' love that song.

I suppose I'd have to go Maiden, Priest, Sabbath. It's funny, ask any American who is a fan of NWOBHM, and they're probably a Maiden fan. I don't see half as many Priest fans, and even fewer Sabbath Fans. Powerslave was powerful, Painkiller killed, and Paranoid...made me paranoid? I dunno. Anyway, I have to admit, besides a few songs from Paranoid, I'm not a big fan of the Ozzy years. There's just something about the slow tempo that kills me. Dio didn't have the same...sort of edge to his lyrics, I guess(Ozzy had some sweet lyrics back then), but he made his music more "modern" for his day. The Mob Rules still rules.

I saw Sabbath in Nurnberg, Germany in 1976 and Priest in Fayetteville, NC in 1980...I don't care for Maiden all that mush...1 or 2 good songs is all...

It would have been so f*cking awesome to see Sabbath back the day. I'vee seen them when they first got back together with Ozzy but I'm sure it's not the same. I love Judas Priest particularly Painkiller. I'm stoked to see them in August with Sabbath (w/Dio) Motorhead and Testament. I'm going to see Maiden on Saturday with Anthrax.

Lucky duck. Number of concerts I've been to = 0. I almost got to go see Gigantour, but to no avail. When I lived in California, I could have gone to so many good concerts, but alas, I'm hours away from the nearest *good* venue.

I just saw Maiden back in Feb and I bought tickets to this show only a couple of weeks after. it was, by far in the top three best shows I've ever been too...

I'm especially stoked this time around because Anthrax is opening for them and I have yet to see them...
