Led Zepplin or AC/DC? What do you think?

Neither... I have always preferred the Who over Led Zeppelin and AC/DC over Led Zeppelin unless its the song Kashmir, Houses of the Holy, Black Dog, Communication Breakdown, When the Levee Breaks but not Stairway to Heaven.

Than again I do prefer Led Zeppelin over AC/DC unless its the song Back in Black, Dirty Deeds, Balls, TNT, Hell's Bells, Highway to Hell, et cetera.

Either way both still lose to my love of the Who, with such songs as Behind Blue Eyes, Baba O'Reilly, Won't Get Fooled Again, Bargain and that is just one album.

even tho i love led zeppelin, i think the people that are like "O ya i love Led!" whats your favorite song "uhh, heavens stairway. no stairway to heaven! ya!" are posers. you cant say you are a fan of a band till you know a b-side that you like. for example, i like babe im gonna leave you, goin to california, etc.

that's exactly what I'm saying! Nobody knows any other song from Led Zepplin other than Stairway, which makes AC/DC the better band.

b-side: the songs that the band didnt think would be the most popular.
ie: look on a old cassette, on Led Zeppelin IV
the a-sides are as follows: Black Dog, Rock and Roll, battle of Evermore, Stairway to heaven
the b-sides are as follows: Misty Mountain Hop, Four Sticks, Going to California, When the Levee breaks

so you have to like a b-side to be a true fan, because then you have explored the real music of the band

I've listened to a bunch of songs backwards and the most I just hear gibberish. If you listen too hard you'll start imagining words, but nothing has been proven so far.

The ability to get one song to have an opposite meaning when played backwards would basically be the epitome of music, but sadly it doesn't seem possible =|

I've heard lots of songs where if you listen to them backwords they say bad things. There was a Brittany Spears song that did that, then that Pokemon theme song said something like "it's fun to play with the devil" it was crazy! I found this website that played it backwards and highlighted the words that were said.

I think I'll go with AC/DC even though it's way overplayed. I like Zeppelin too but just not all of their stuff, only some of it. Either way, both are great classic rock bands.

wycked, I love you man and I don't doubt your knowledge of music, but saying that is a load. I really like Muse for example, and I have all of their albums, and I can say that many of their b-sides have much to be desired. Same goes for even more bands.

There's some bands who have b-sides that I like, and could care less about their main stuff. It's all in the ear of the beholder.

haha. knowing a bside proves you like a band, and liking a bside means that youre a big fan, IMO, cos theres bands i like, and i know the bsides, but i dont like em.
