What songs/artists do you like that your parents like?

I gotta admit, I like Il Divo, Sarah Brightman, and Celtic Woman -- but I can't say that I would listen to them around my friends

We all listen to the same music for the most part. I usually introduce my mom to new music and she asks me to make her CDs and whatnot.

Well I personally listen to every genre except for heavy metal. Other than that, I've got everything. R&B, Rap, and Jazz are the genres that we all listen to, though.

I like a very wide range of music, so most of what my mum listens to, Savage Garden, Jon B, she loves that "Apologize" song by Onerepublic, I also listen to. It's not true the other way around, though. XD

the songs Ni De aqui ni de alla & Perdoname ama Translates to Not from here nor from there and Forgive me mother
because the first song talks about the stereotypes on mexicans and the second one talks about how his mother was there for him through the stupid things he did

A lot of Filipino Music that I don't know how to spell
Beat it, Thriller, Billie Jean by Micheal Jackson

That's pretty much it, and all I can remember at the moment that me and my parents like.

wow, your mom has very good taste, my parents listen only to 80's rock, so i grew surrounded by groups like journey, scorpions, queen, kansas, styx etc. so a part of my colection include those groups

I got my tastes from both of them although mainly my mom. Crib Music was thrash/speed Metal No little twinkle Twinkle for me! Just Metallica, ACDC, Queen, Rob Zombie, Deep Purple, and Maiden!

Me and my daddy like the same music to a degree; we both like Curtis Mayfield and Isaac Haynes and 8-Ball.

My mom likes Johnny Cash my dad likes the mellower Zeppelin and Pink Floyd songs, aswell as John Fogerty. All of which I like to some degree

some songs that i like that my parents hear they like too....for example my mom likes keane...but they dont really listen to them. i like techno a lot and my parents both hate that.

I like Josh Groban, they like him too. They like Il Divo and Celtic Women as well. I can get down with them.
Typically I favor heavy music, but the older you get the more your likes change or expand.
