Creed - My own Prison
Korn - Korn
Deftones - Around the Fur

Those three were the ground breakers for me when I was a teen and the music from that time shapes your music foundation...well it did mine...and though I have grown to be more eclectic, those were three impact albums of those times that will stick with me.

I'm the same. But my Favorite(s) tend to be compilation soundtrack albums.

For me it's a toss up between Metallica's Master of Puppets, Slayer's South of Heaven, Iron Maiden's Powerslave, Iron Maiden's Number of The Beast or Judas Priest's Painkiller... Those are definitely my top 5 but I can't choose between them...

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.[/

Not that i don't love newer metal, because I do, I just prefer the classics. These guys were pioneers in not only defining heavy metal but creating an entire sub-culture. These guys created something positive for the misfits, the "scum" of society to believe in. You can't argue with that.

that's true. I can agree with that, i still don't listen to them much at all though, I guess I should though, seeing as how they started it all.

This would have to be my favorite, followed by Secret Treaties by Blue Öyster Cult and Rising by Rainbow.

I can't pick just one album, not by a long shot, but I can name one of my favorite albums

Elvis Costello & the Attractions - This Years Model

Isn't that the truth. Mine is a huge tossup but i have two that i listen to way more than anything else, The Human Abstract, Nocturne. And Protest The Hero, Kezia.

They just make me rock out more than anything else i listen to on a regular basis.
