Anybody here Scratch? [DJ]

I am kinda just starting. I am using a Stanton DJ Lab 2 pack.

I don't have many records yet.
I was just curious if anybody here DJs as well.

That set looks funny, I'm used to seeing peopel use the old scholl scratchers I guess. I do not scratch as well. scratch CD's yes,

Yea i dj too but i'm also kinda new
nice turntables btw
i was thinkin bout gettin the numark hdx which is turntables but it has a harddrive so i dont have spend so much money on records

a friend of mine was a dj back when we were in high school and I used to go to his house and try to get good like him and I found out it's not as easy as he made it look.

I really wish my boy had applied himself and not got caught up with drugs and stuff cause he was a beast on the 1's and 2's. He'd spend hours everyday practicing his craft, he was able to easily mimic the scratches of Joe Cooley, DJ Jazzy Jeff and numerous others, he sounded just like them! And his mixing game was on point too, he'd put on a song and I'd think "there's no way in hell he can get that to blend in" and sure enough he made it happen!

i have a set of numark ttx1's but i dont scratch, strictly mixing. i play electro house and trance, and early morning classic rock if the party lasts that long. my record collection is nothing to write home about but i do have some rare gems. mostly a bedroom dj but im not afraid to jump on the decks at a house party. never been booked for a paid gig though.

theres a handful of new and used vinyl shops around town, but they require digging to find good records. if im looking for something specific i order it online. theres a ton of online stores to order from so i wont bother listing them as i dont use a specific one.
i want to buy serato so i can use my digital music collection and my laptop but still have a 12" platter with real vinyl for the feel.

Homers Is a local CD Vinyl Shop otherwise my brother used to scratch a while back so I am going to get a bunch of his records
