A Matter of Life and Death

Today (September 5th) Iron Maidens newest album was released, here in the US, everywhere else it was released the 28th of last month.

The metal monsters return with "A Matter Of Life And Death" (read review on UG), their 14th studio record and the first since 2003's "Dance of Death.

If anyone here likes Maiden, or has listened to them before, this album is good. It's a bit more progressive than anything they've put out before, but it still has that classic Maiden feel.
Instrumentally, it's probably the best stuff they've put out, and that's coming from me who's been playing bass for about 6 years.

All in all it's a good album, and I recommend going out and buying it, and supporting one of the few good rock bands still around.

Hm, heard of them, but really never listened to their music... Guess I'll give them a try.

I downloaded it last week, because I didn't want to wait until yesterday; I did the same with the peppers' new album, but afterwards bought them.
