When they do things like this, more people will just download the music. Why should you have to buy the CD, then download it legally from the zune service for example.

Yea, I remember when I heard this and it really pissed me off because basically they are saying that if you own a CD you have to also purchase those songs online and have duplicate copies so that you can listen to one in a CD player and the other on your Zune or lesser mp3 device. Its all about making money and they are trying to do everything they can to make sure that they do. What happens if I don't back up all of my music and God forbidden there is a fire in my house and I not allowed to access my copies of my CDs? What next we have to pay for individual shows on TV? I'm ready to go Incredible Hulk on RIAA! (You don't want to see me when I'm angry!)
