Angry Sequal depression (s.Darko) any other sequals you hated?

Well, I am a huge fan of the original movie. You know, the one that was actually very good. Had a great cast, had wonderful acting, great story, it was edited well. All of it was amazing.

And then there is this great big piece of ****. The acting was done by people who seemed to be suffering from aspergers. Not only that but the effects looked as though they were worked on with adobe after effects. The story was just a direct remake of the original.

I know that i should not have really been expecting much, but c'mon. It is a sequal to Donnie Darko. I was hoping for something remotely decent.

You got links to that? I haven't seen it yet.

Generally, sequels suck. Like the second Predator movie. Sweet Jesus.

Technically Underworld three is the "prequel" to any of the movies.
and I haven't and refuse to see this, Donnie Darko is the best. imo.

I have yet to see Donnie Darko but i hear alot of great things bout it. Prequels can still suck like wolverine was good but it looked like they rushed making it and it could have been alot better. Starwars was a good atempt but still fell alittle short for me. The high point in that one for me was yoda bustin out with his saber.

The thing with Star Wars, though, is that all the scripts were written, basically, at the same time. They just started with the plot line that would be cheapest to make.

Also, you should hit up some Donnie Darko, it's a cult favorite.

Yeah, Donnie Darko is always a good one. Along with other great movies such as a clockwork orange, and the like.

Yeah, x-men 3 really was not all that good. It was lacking so much story, and things to properly tie it together. ^

I would also say that every single disney sequal (excluding toy story 2, that was not bad at all.) also blew and was a huge falure.

I hate sequels to horror movies...like Texas Chainsaw and The Omen. CGI just ruins the whole suspense part of horror. The horror movies from the 70's and 80's are epic cause....it looked as if it could really happen... People don't try anymore today.
The rest are fine though.

There are still some interesting horror movies that are out there.
If you are in a sadistic mood one day, try and make an attempt at watching August underground mordum, it is rather messed up. You know, made to look like a home movie, complete with every nasty part of snuff one can imagine.
