Default WALL*E

did anyone else think this movie was absolutely amazing ??

it became my favorite animated film.........it was hilarious and yet it was also really meaningful and pretty deep/dark at times, with the whole obesity thing and lack of direct human interaction..........and then theres the whole consumerism and monopoly thing and the fact that the earth was a wasteland

EDIT: I just looked on IMDB and WALL*E is #19 on their top 250 list.............right under once upon a time in the west and right on top of lord of the rings

well since earth became uninhabitable all the ppl left on this giant ¨cruise ship¨ for a five year jorney to somewhere better.....however the ship has like these chairs that ppl ride around in....they never walk....all their food is taken in through cups....and their eyes are glued to screens all the time...even if theyr talking to someoen next to them they are ¨video chatting¨ through tthe screen. the 5 yr journey really has no destinatin it was sort of a point to get ppl to live somewhere until earth became livable again...however 700 yrs later it still isnt and by that time ppl are very very fat and lazy and almost robotic they have no say in what goes on they just go through the routine without thinking.....they even lose some of their bones since they havent walked in so long......again....if u really look into it its a pretty deep film...im surprised it was rated G

u really really really have to see this film.........its quite impressive. and it looks amazing too pixar did an amazing job with the CG

Amazing movie, great interesting story, both child and adult humor, great visuals/lighting/motion blur. Loved it.

I was impressed at how good the movie was. I wasn't sure how good it was going to be. I only went to see it because a friend of mine wanted to see it and I'd already seen all the movies that really looked good (like Get Smart and Prince Caspian)

Saw this post, started downloading the film . Tried to avoid looking at where you've talked about it in this thread though; don't want to spoil it.

Hmmm.....I think Pixar had like some writers block or something cause Wall-E isn't really original to me.
The main character itself reminds me of that old late 80's robot real life movie that I forgot the title too anyways it is just shunk down ().
