Looks like were gonna have to wait for at least another day before a real one. I just saw it in theaters. It was good. But i still wanna see it again and on my zune.

i hate putting up crap quality movies, hence why all my releases are dvd-rips lol. I gotta say that this movie is both sexy and awesome, the fight scenes were intense and bloody which i love. All around awesome movie.

well i definetly wouldnt take any kids to see the movie for sure. excessive nudity + dudity. im guessing they were just trying to show Greek culture. Some sex scenes as well. now a days, they try to prove that a movie is straight business by adding nude scenes.

if you watch Lost regularly you might not have caught the Persian king Xerxes . He's on there also. small roles regulary on the island. on lost his name is Paulo.

Actually, she didn't say the nudiy, she said the sex scenes.

'The sex scenes were too graphic, I don't need to be seeing all that. It was like a soft-core porn in the theater.'

I believe those were her exact words..

I loved it though.

actually to be honest, i thought it was a little excessive also. i didnt mind, but once i looked around it was kinda weird how i saw middle school kids staring at the screen..haha.
not to mention my nephew is asking me constantly to take him to see this movie.

I agree, the nudity was a little bit over the top.. i'm not going to lie, i thought both of the females featured were very attractive, but really, its a war movie!

Another thing about the nudity that i thought was funny is just our culture... no one batted an eye-lash with the nude females (hell, a lot of people liked it), but as soon as there was a nude male on screen, 1/2 of the full theatre i was in muttered, or groaned or whatever. Now, i'm straight and not keen on seeing guys naked, but come on guys; i'm sure you'll get over it.

As for the movie, it thought it was pretty good, but must admit that i was a little bit disappointed. I went in with really high expectations, hoping / expecting to walk out almost completely speechless (like when i walked out of The Departed), but instead walked out feeling a little bit let down

In my opinion, it was a good movie, but not everything i was hoping and expecting it to be.

i didnt really care about the sex scenes and all that.. understanding the way it was back then, its really not a big deal. but definately wouldnt take any 'youngins' to see it.. though when i went to see the movie there was an entire family waiting in line it, two little kids and all, the oldest couldnt have been more than like 8 or 9.. i just shook my head
