La Vita è Bella (Life is Beautiful), El Mar Adentro (The Sea Inside), Oldboy, House of Flying Daggers, Hero, and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children are all great.

A Sequel for Battle Royale has been out forever. In my Opinion it sucked compared to the original. It's not horrible to the point it's not viewable though.

There's a French horror movie called Haute Tension that is absolutely insane. Another foreign horror movie comes out of Italy called Cannibal Holocaust. Granted it's all in English but it is an Italian film. The movie is so gratuitous and gory that the director was actually brought on trial because they thought that he had released a snuff film. The movie is still banned in many countries and some countries only carry heavily heavily cut versions (missing about 25 minutes or so). Also, Wolf Creek from Australia is good. There are also a couple Korean horror flicks that are pretty good but I can't remember names off the top of my head.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.[/

Audition is such a huge lie.
Its not scary at all.
Its a big ass "lol I gotcha bitch" joke.
Every Japanese person involved in that movie should be sued big time.
And Bravo too for promoting it as one of the scariest movies.

Audition, Tsotsi, The Crimson Rivers, Like Water For Chocolate, Night Watch, Day Watch, Memories of Murder, Irreversible, Kontroll, Suicide Club, Curse of the Golden Flower, High Tension, Akira Kurosawa's Dreams......

I could go on and on, I love foreign films.

Suicide Club was probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Audition is more of a creepy movie, if you think about something like that. It's pretty messed up.

Also, everyone should watch City of God. Probably the best movie I've seen.
