Personally, I liked it. It was a very interesting twist on the classic Godzilla type movie.

i HATED it! i mean, they don't open it off good, and they sure as hell don't end it good. There are way too many questions that were left unanswered. Not even a nominee for movie of the year on my part.

Even if you did want to see it you can't, it's no longer in theaters.

This was a great movie. You wanted to see it for story, where the movie was made to make it look like it was an event that actually happened, which is why it was shot on a handheld camera(or at least, you saw it through that P.O.V.) and it never explained anything. You saw what the characters saw.

This was EPIC WIN in my opinion.

According to Wikipedia, her upper torso explodes. Meaning, from the waist up explodes leaving gore everywhere.

It was the best movie I ever saw. But the camera could get annoying sometimes... Some people at my local theater had the bad idea of sitting in the front and they all threw up.

I was actually really excited for Cloverfield, mostly because I wanted to know what the hell the monster actually was (the marketing worked on me). I actually went to the theater to see this, & I only go once or twice a year... I was so disappointed! It wasn't a horrible movie, but it definitely isn't close to a good one IMO.
