From the story line it couldn't have gotten any better. IT was more interesting than I expected.

It was also a very short movie for an adult action / horror flick.
Will Smith is a good actor and I have seen both endings. They should have stuck with the book version. Despite that, Smith made it worth the watch and interesting at that.

Hollywood always does stuff like that.
Look at the Bourne series. They butchered that so bad. They did not even follow the book by any means and the movies would have been so much better.
Remember in the Bourne Supremacy where !!!Warning Spoiler!!! his wife dies from the get go? That doesn't happen in the book at all. In fact, she is alive and kidnapped as to turn him back to Bourne.
The I am Legend alt ending is much better I think. Well really, its not an alternate since the book came first. Its the real ending that was hacked up and screwed over by Hollywood.

Yeah if you have time to read and you like to read novels like that then check them out. The Bourne Supremacy is like six hundred something pages so it takes a minute to read but it held me much more than the movie.
