But yeah I saw this movie in theaters. Was really good in my opinion, hated how it was like other zombie/horror movies. Just like how a previous zuner posted. A disease spreads, making people in to zombie/weird diseased people/ then a guy try's to find the cure..etc.. etc.. but yeah a good movie. liked it alot, almost cried during this one part...wont say though for all who didn't see. Must of been alot of pressure for Will Smith though, since he was like the only actor during the whole movie. Besides a few other people. But yeah if the movie was bad it would be mainly his fault.

I loved the first half of the movie, went down hill really fast though, the ending was complete bull, I think you could tell the studio forced it on them and they half-assed it, I think the special edition DVD is supposed to have an alternate ending, which could make it a really great movie if it's good.

well i think the movie was okay not great but just something i would borrow from a friend to see but the weird thing is that why is all the other of those thing stupid as hell but only one of them seem to have some IQ?

Yeah he was like the clan leader of the whole hive. The only reason why he went after Will Smith in the movie though was because Will Smith took his gal!! He stole his women, his wifey, his "ImnotlonelywhenI'mwithyou" person. I mean did you see his face when he came in to open day light just to see who captured his girl.
Also because after months upon months of learning/adapting to their surroundings some of the infected people started to learn again. Also it's natural for that one semi-smarter then the rest infected person to b the leader. A group or in this case hive would normally acknowledge the smarter/stronger of the group as the leader, to lead their "hive". To survive. I mean come on that leader guy even planned a trap for Will Smith in the movie!!!

Thanks for the link Faded, this ending was so much better!!! In my opinion, its a way better ending to the movie. Also proves my theory/point of why the clan leader infected person dude went after Will Smith in my previous post. Also shows how even when things become so different(like you being infected, and not being able to live in sunlight, etc..)and difficult love still shines trough the dark haze in the dark light of the night.

That's true..could be his daughter that turned in to all freaky and stuff with him. And even though they went through this horrible change they stayed together as father and daughter. But I saw her as the wife/lover of the clan leader guy, not daughter. Either way makes the movie interesting if you think about it..
