Default your favorite horror movies...

Horror films Wiki says...:

Horror films are films of the horror genre that are designed to elicit fright, fear, terror, or horror from viewers. In horror film plots, evil forces, events, or characters, sometimes of supernatural origin, intrude into the everyday world. Common horror film figures include vampires, zombies, monsters, serial killers, demons, ghosts and a range of other fear-inspiring characters.

what are your favorite horror movies? remember, i use the term horror loosely. please try not to post anything that's already been said.

a couple of my top picks, there are tons more but i'll leave them for others to mention:
Hostel/Hostel 2
Seven
House of 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects

Hostel was good, I haven't seen the second one yet.

Umm.. I liked House On Haunted Hill, Resident Evil 1&2 (haven't seen the third one yet), Dawn of the Dead, Silent Hill, The Forgotten, Hide & Seek, and The Hills Have Eyes.

But I don't think these movies are horror; they're more like comedies to me..

I have to agree w/ you there, The Descent I had no idea was going to be as good as it was, one of my faves. I also like Resident Evil although it really doesn't follow the game, not that any of them do And I can't forget about 28 Days Later.

28 weeks later?? Are YOU KEEEDING?

The only part I really liked was when he absolutely destroys those zombies with the helicopter. Or when the zomb-dad shows up at the hide-out.

Oh, zomb-dad!

I thought that movie pretty much sucked ass.

But I loved Saw IV. Guilty pleasure I guess.

oh mann.

saw isnt really a horror...
well. kinda for the squeemish.
but watching it was kind of interesting to see how some people think.

OH!
there was a thing a few years back...
the collar bomber i think?
it was really weird.
essentially this group or one person captured a pizza guy.
and strapped a bomb to his neck with a metal collar. and made him rob a bank and everything. and they said if he did anything wrong, they'd detonate it.

well the cops got to him.
and they thought he was suicidal and sat him down in cuffs.
they were told of the bomb.
and he was really calm..
but the police thought it was fake.
because he was so calm...

they decided to call the bomb squad anyway..

and a few minutes later it blew up.
and they never found the guy that did it...

heres a link

http://www.crimelibrary.com/notoriou...ber/index.html
but yeah.
quite disturbing.

-_- i saw a video of it last night. it was gross.

I gotta say 1408, it was a great movie. Not because it was the scariest but more because of its great plot.
