Did anyone else enjoy this movie a lot? I thought it portrayed the apathetic/chaotic sterile future very well. DISCUSS!

the movie wasnt what i expected. it focused too much on getting the pregnant woman to safety. i didnt even finish it, but i really liked the idea of ppl not being able to have kids anymore. i actually had that idea , but instead of being unable to have kids ppl would just choose not to and would enjoy the rest of their lives w/o having to worry about the future and all that stuff. and i thought of this before the movie came out so i was really freaked out when i heard about the movie.

Here are the reviews I'll put on here
Positive Los Angeles Times: Kenneth Turan Made with palpable energy, intensity and excitement, it compellingly creates a world gone mad that is uncomfortably close to the one we live in. It is a "Blade Runner" for the 21st century, a worthy successor to that epic of dystopian decay The New York Times: Manohla Dargis Children of Men may be something of a bummer, but it’s the kind of glorious bummer that lifts you to the rafters, transporting you with the greatness of its filmmaking. Negative Wall Street Journal: Joe Morgenstern Bloated adaptation of P.D. James's thoughtful, compact novel. New York Post : Kyle Smith Director Alfonso Cuarón has a vision so mesmerizingly terrible that it alone - at least, for those who enjoy a gorgeous nightmare - is reason enough to see the film. -the reviews there are mostly positive no red square. more reviews of Children Of Men here
