In Saw 4, it was good but when you think about it, Saw 4's traps weren't that good. They took out the glass coffin, and the ending was confusing rather than like "OMG SUPERSPECIALAWESOME PLOT TWIST!"

I hope they make a Saw 5 and release it this year. There are rumors there might not be one..

Saw 1 and 2 were great. 3 was decent and I haven't had the chance to watch 4 just yet.

I'm not big on horror movies, but the Saw movies weren't scary, just psyco mind screws. Which is pure love where I'm concerned.

3 ticked me off because Amanda didn't stick to the rules of the game.

They have to release saw 5. The main character signed a contract for 5 movies.

No I meant that I hope it comes out this year. They are filiming 5 and 6 back to back, and for some reason this apparently will stop 5 from coming out this year, despite all the other movies taking at maximum 1 month(I think) to film.

I've seen 1-3 but after the first one wasn't a fan. I kept thinking of all the things that the police officer (ex officer??? can't remember) was doing wrong ie not following proper procedure and was over thinking it way too much. I'm not a fan of this series and really don't care to see any more. However I love scary movies, I don't see these as that scary.

Yeah saw was more story and gore than actual scary.

Its a great balance between the two

What's your thoughts on this series
Ok here's my deal.
I applaud you for liking movies, and I'm not dissing you for liking this series.'
But i have a problem with it.
ok The entire series is one story repeated with twists in each movie.
Each movie had the same amount of blood, Too much, around every corner someone was getting an axe to the head, or spikes in the back, it was ridiculous to see such a sadistic way of killing people.
and for the record i like "violent" movies, just not these four.
this movie would have been 100x better if they had had an actual story behind it instead of the "game" he was "playing", it was an alright series until they made the 3rd one. it was overkill, both literally and figuratively.

Thats just my 2 cents.
sorry if i offended anybody, but i just think its Killed and done with, they should have been done at 2.

Basically, Saw 4 takes place at the SAME TIME as Saw 3. Detective Rigg is thrust into game's from Jigsaw and Amanda's apprentice, and he has to save Eric Matthews.

Ending is confusing though, but I liked it nonetheless. It also was supposed to have an alternate ending, according to wikipedia.

Quote:
Original ideas: When the trap was first filmed, the Saw IV crew wasn't sure who was going to be on the ice block, although Darren Bousman insisted it be Eric. Among the other possible victims were Rigg's father and Hoffman. With the victim in mind, the trap started basic, with Eric being hanged if the ice melted. However, the crew still needed it to appear lethal to Hoffman. Hoffman was scripted to be positioned on a meat hook, hanging above a collecting pool of water. Once the timer was up, he was going to be dropped into the water, electrocuting him. He and Eric were not on a large scale as was seen in the movie. Also, Art's device was originally written to be activated, cutting his spine and killing him instantly. According to Darren Lynn Bousman, part of an alternate ending was shot in which Rigg reached the door, but stopped there, instead falling to his knees and witnessing Eric's death inside the room without opening the door. Hoffman then stood up and opened the door before whispering something into Rigg's ear, leaving him shocked. Turning the corner, Rigg was then shot dead by Strahm.

Wow... Weird spelling. The first was good just.. You didn't really SEE the traps, which was the bad part.

I have yet to see a saw movie still, really need to go rent one. But yeah hear it's a good series, the only thing that I'm afraid of is. That some dumb weirdo freak is going to attempt the same thing to people like in the saw movie. Like kidnap people and make them go through crazy, horrid traps like shown in saw movies...my class had a discussion about this was crazy and interesting...we almost got our teacher to let us watch the most recent saw movie in class. =P
