    Could you possibly re-upload Zune Firmware 2.5? Thanks for your time in advance.

    I stopped. How long is the SB ban in place. (this will actually allow me to study for my test tomorrow)

    *ptr = *ptr; is a nop to let the processor catch up with the code changes you've made

    hey,
    i'm having problems with syncing the original zune games (the .zcp ones) i downloaded from zunedevwiki, there was written that i had to put it in %localappdata%/microsoft/zune or something, but i couldn't find that location,
    and i saw your name on de zunedevwiki site, so i thought you could maybe help me (A)

    OK, I think ipl is initial program loader, but I'm still not sure how that would be useful for the current hack. More research needed.

    OK, I figured out why you have to use MarhalCopy, it's because the CLI is extremely restrictive in what it allows you to do, but MarhalCopy runs as native code, so it lets you get around that limitation.

    Hi Mr Truck,
    I hate to bother you, but I've been having trouble understanding the exploit tool you wrote that makes OpenZDK possible.

    I made a post about it here: http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/gam...tml#post530501 and they suggested I talk to you directly.

    In summary, I had three main issues:
    *ptr = *ptr;
    Why on earth would you need to do that?

    Second is, what are ipl and rvx? Are the bytes in _ipl some sort of unlock code?

    Another thing that confused me is, why did you need to use the "MarhalCopy" method from the ZuneKernelMethods? Wouldn't it be enough to just overwrite the return address on the stack?

    If you don't have time to answer these questions directly, I would really appreciate it if you could at least point me to where I could go to find the answers. I've been trying to figure this out for a week or so now.
