i'm having problems with syncing the original zune games (the .zcp ones) i downloaded from zunedevwiki, there was written that i had to put it in %localappdata%/microsoft/zune or something, but i couldn't find that location,
and i saw your name on de zunedevwiki site, so i thought you could maybe help me (A)
(i live in the netherlands, so i can't sync them using zune software, so i had to do it another way.....)
hope you can help me!
hey i have an issue with my zune software now that i put xna apps on my zune... it wont sync up anymore cause "XnaTransZ is using your device to see sync status close that program." but all of the xna stuff is closed....
OK, I figured out why you have to use MarhalCopy, it's because the CLI is extremely restrictive in what it allows you to do, but MarhalCopy runs as native code, so it lets you get around that limitation.
In summary, I had three main issues:
*ptr = *ptr;
Why on earth would you need to do that?
Second is, what are ipl and rvx? Are the bytes in _ipl some sort of unlock code?
Another thing that confused me is, why did you need to use the "MarhalCopy" method from the ZuneKernelMethods? Wouldn't it be enough to just overwrite the return address on the stack?
If you don't have time to answer these questions directly, I would really appreciate it if you could at least point me to where I could go to find the answers. I've been trying to figure this out for a week or so now.
